Great place to Eat...easy on the wallet too one of my favorite places for over 30 year's

I have eaten at Los Avina for years. Always been good.

Real deal chili relleno.

I love, love, love the Beef & Cheese Quesadilla Supreme and my husband cleaned his #15 combination plate. The best tamale I've ever tasted! The atmosphere is super laid back and the decor as far from fancy as you can get. The food is the focus and keeps us coming back! Lots of food for little money. 😋

This place is good food and the best Mexican food in the area with large portions but I must give it three stars because the guacamole has no flavor, the nachos have cheap cheese on them and they serve them with hamburger meat. My kid didn't want to eat them because they were kinda gross. The shrimp and steak fajita plate for two is the best and that is why I go here. They don't have horchata or tamarind drink. They aren't very authentic but they are the best Mexican food I have had around here.

Best tacos I’ve ever had. Great staff ready to help. I wasn’t thrilled with an appetizer I ordered, nothing was wrong with it, just not my taste. They replaced it with something I knew I liked. They want you to have a great experience. Many staff members have been there for a while with loyal patrons, which is a great sign.

Wonderful - my wife is a fantastic cook and very picky, especially about Mexican food, and she thought it was very good. I loved it. Service was very good, prices reasonable, and food had a good authentic Mexican flavor and preparation. One thing - if you know Mexican food and want tacos with strips of beef rather than ground beef you need to ask for that. We are literally talking about making the 2.5 hour drive back to Archer just to eat here again.

Excellent Food. We are on a Chili Relleno trek. The poblano is not coated in a breading, which we prefer. We had the beef which came with light red sauce and cheese. Great price at 2 for around $7. We rated it almost at the top at 9 out of 10!

we went there this evening to celebrate my daughter's 26th birthday. We've been coming to this restaurant since she was10! It just gets better and better and the server was amazing! It was absolutely excellent I had the chimichangas huge plate with tons of chicken in it always served with chips and salsa and you have to have their cheese sauce to go with it wonderful my husband had the fajitas and it was huge even he had to take some home and I did too you need to go there you'll love it

Food was disgusting. I didn't eat more than one bite, my waitress never came back after dropping our food...or ever during the time we were there. she only came to give us the bill and didn't even notice or mention the 3 plates of untouched food on the table. 2 people with one app was over 30 bucks.....so not with it.DONT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY

When I see reviews of this place saying it's the best Mexican food they've ever had I want to take them to other places because obviously they haven't been to a lot of Mexican restaurants. This place is okay, it's not great, it's not bad. Lunch specials are appropriately priced for what you get. My only issue is I've had the same menu item a couple of times and it's been a little different so there's no continuity. The wait staff do not know a lot about the menu so if you have questions good luck. Basically it doesn't suck and you get what you pay for.

Still good, but not as good as last time. Different cook, I guess. I wanted t-bone/ribeye and fried potatoes. Instead I got French fries and little bits of steak cut up for fajitas.

Great people wounderful food

We love hanging out. Yesterday we went to this superb place which we didn’t know before. We enjoyed a lovely evening there with fine food and a professional team and a distinguished cuisine. We added this venue in our phone list and we will no doubt go again soon. Highly recommended.

I come here at less 2times a week and never have i seen this in my life you see the meat where waited 1hour cause i said i want everything on the side he put everything together hello this so then he send this out where is the meat this pic is bad but there are Cameras here where they can see what i got Then the Excuse I got was the cook had a long day and wants to go now if he would had Listen to the waitress telling him everything separated This would never happen

Service was great the meal was ok. Don't know if it was me or the food. It didn't have alot of flavor. Usually it's pretty good but it has been a while since I have been there.

Only order a few things on the menu, but they are good, especially for being the practically the only restaurant in the area.

Restuarant was rather grungy..; the taco salad with shrimp had plenty of shrimp which is why I gave it an extra star. Too much refried beans and guacamole and sour cream not enough actual salad. Became a sodden mess. Margarita was average.

This is THE BEST Mexican restaurant we have ever been to. We love the service and the atmosphere, and the food is wonderful! Also, there is a HUGE difference between the Cheifland site and the Archer site. The Archer site is the only one we eat at.

Great food! Large portions for a great price. Some of the friendliest service we've ever had. They don't try to rush you out yet they remain attentive to your needs. Have been back several times (and they will customize for those of us who are a bit picky - no beans, no guac, etc). I highly recommend a relaxing meal with a cold beer!

Good food fast service

I like this spot but it’s not the best tasting Tex-Mex . I almost feel like I can do better at home . The good news it’s fast and cheap so no complaints there!

Not the fanciest place.. but the food is great. Can be a challenge calling in an order sometimes though.

the service is iffy. Meaning, sometimes is fast, they are right there to get your drink order, etc and other times it'ss really slow. It takes them forever to get to the table to start your order. But they are always friendly and the food is always good.

Always enjoy! The food is prepared fresh, its always hot and never premade. The service is excellent! Prices are very affordable. I would recommend for Authentic Mexican Cuisine.

A very quaint little hole in the wall, local joint. Not the best I've had, place needs some love, but the prices are good, the portions are perfect, and the food is definitely authentic. Service is less a little on the slow side for a place that isn't super packed, but worth the wait.

Food is soooooo good drinks are Excellent and atmosphere in here is so fun!!!! EVERYONE is always happy smiling laughing it's just so refreshing especially after a day of being around grumpy people. I think they deserve a nice big building of their own instead of yet another bank being built in this shopping center where Daily's used to be. I could only imagine it. The wait you most likely will encounter is very much worth it. Perfect chips and salsa!!!!

Such a great place food is excellent full of flavor, salsa is amazing. You also get real homemade hot sauce from the kitchen if you ask for it. It's not your normal tex mex place. Food is authentic tasting and comes out fresh and hot all the time. 3rd time here so I decided to write the review

We have been dining here since they first opened. Nothing has changed, except their family has grown and we have grown older. Always a pleasant experience! Many years to come.

This is a family run restaurant. It has been around for many years because it has good Mexican food at not cheap but decent prices. A local stop for sure if you're passing through archer

Tamales and sweet tea are good. Service was excellent. Food was served quickly and very hot. Don't let the exterior fool you. Eat here.
